Respect
Where We Are & What We Need To DoTo Gain Respect
The situation we face today goes far beyond the simple greed of a few corporate kingpins whose only thought is profit. The major oil companies of today’s world in working together as a single entity have become the worlds financiers & the wealthiest most powerful force in the history of man. They remain independent of each other yet in working as a group they now control most world markets & even governments, they have no true concern for our planets environmental health, or its people. They owe to no one but there own greed & are now setting the worlds standards with unethical pricing policies & marketing strategies that purvey an insatiable lust for the world’s currencies. They cannot be allowed to go on unchecked & it is only We the world’s consumers who have the power to bring down & break up this circle of thieves & their corporate confederacy. But it can only be done in unity, not as nations, but as people for people in sincere concern for our families & our fellow man. This is not a problem that only we as Americans are being forced to deal with, but one that concerns, and is affecting all societies & nations, it is a critical time in the world & something has to be done now if we are to continue the way of life we have come to enjoy & hopefully, help to better the lives of others. This may not be the ultimate answer? But for now it is all we’ve got & with strong support from you the consumer it has the potential to considerably lower the cost of petroleum fuels, initiate a more aggressive search for alternative fuels & last but far from least, restore respect for you the people of the world. Respect is still & has always been a powerful tool in any interaction or exchange between people or powers; it promotes truth & honor & instills integrity. When mutual respect is granted in business matters, honesty & fair play are part of the deal. Where there is no respect, havoc wreaks & dishonesty abounds, it is something that should be exchanged freely, but in most cases it is earned & in some where it will not be granted, it can only be forced, when that is the case, it is usually not long forgotten.
If force is the only way we can regain respect from these companies, then let it be so. Participate & promote this boycott & show them the power of the consumer & let it be a lesson they will not soon forget.
